Economics

Department of Economics was established in 1960 with Economics as a subject in B.A. Now Department is contributing in B.A, B.com. M.A and M.com. Programs to the Students. There are 8 Teaching Faculty members including 2 Regular Associate Professors, 3 Regular assistant professor and 3 Extension Lecturers. Department of Economics is one of the most leading departments of the college with an aim of Learning and Innovations. The department has been trying its best to equip the students with the economic principles which can be applied in any discipline of life. The goal of the Economics department is not only to foster a sense of enquiry in the students, but also to make them more analytical and better decision takers in their life. The vision of the department of Economics consist of exploring the economic study and analysis, policy framing and implementation issues by the Indian Economy along with the analysis of other economies in the world.
