LEARNING OUTCOMES OF HEALTH AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION


 The Students will use basic principles of health and wellness to develop personal approach to mental and physical health.       
The Students will understand the principles of lifetime fitness. The Students will understand basic principles of anatomy, physiology, and/or biomechanics and apply the knowledge to activity.
The Students will demonstrate the skills, knowledge and strategies required to participate in inter college tournaments.
 The Students will demonstrate and value knowledge of psychological and sociological concepts.
The Students will examine lifestyle choices and how they impact overall health and wellness.
Perform various exercise activities at a level that will lead to improvement in fitness.
Develop an understanding of the methods used to improve muscular strength, muscular endurance and flexibility.
 Evaluate stress levels and explain behavior to manage stress, both in everyday life and in athletic situations.
