Mass Communication

The Department of Mass Communication was established in 2005 with an aim to cater to the needs of the students of the region wanting to make careers in media. The Department has since come a long way. The constant growth in the number of students speaks for the interests the students have in pursuing the subject. The department is a platform for an overall personality development of a student providing ample opportunities of growth. The Department engages the students in a constant conversation with the outside world through field visits, professional interactions and active participation in several media/film Fests, debates, declamations, presentations, group Discussions, workshop, conferences, seminars etc. The students of the department go on to pursue higher studies in reputed organisations bringing laurels to the department. The department produce students with ability in critical of thinking, problem solving, sound judgement and thus contribute to the development of society.
